The Tax Matters website aims to help secondary school students understand how tax is raised, what the main taxes are and what they pay for. The material is divided into three modules:

The site contains a teachers' area aimed at PHSE, business studies and citizenship teachers. The teachers' area, which contains ready-made lesson plans, has been updated in preparation for the start of the new tax year. The material has also been revamped following feedback from teachers so that it better suits their needs.
