The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999 (SI 1999/1027) have been amended with effect from 14 November 2010 to reflect the introduction of additional statutory paternity pay and the renaming of statutory paternity pay as ordinary statutory paternity pay.
The amending regulations (the Social Security (Decisions and Appeals) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 (SI 2010/2451)) are available on the OPSI website. The associated explanatory memorandum is also available on the OPSI website.
Additional statutory paternity pay is introduced in respect of babies due on or after 3 April 2010 and children matched for adoption on or after that date.
