The National Insurance Contributions Bill was introduced into the House of Commons on 14 October 2010. The Bill contains legislation necessary to give effect to the planned increases in the rates of Class 1 and and Class 4 National Insurance contributions from April 2011 and also to the regional employer NIC holiday scheme.
